My apologies for the lapse between posts! Spring is finally in full bloom, and I’m in overdrive. Here are three encore images from this winter, showing a little girl’s fave thing to do that I think can inspire us all toward better dental health! Have you had your six-month check-up?
More to come!

Actually, I think I have the winter blues…I’ve been ill the past two weeks, so this week I’m playing catch-up with sessions, so look for more posts here shortly! In the meantime, who doesn’t like to glimpse a great pair of baby blues? (All bias aside!)
Hang on for spring, everyone, I know it’s around the corner.

Turning 13 - such a milestone, for child and parent. Yesterday I looked at him and decided I wanted some images of him now, newly a teenager but still looking 12. I wonder what I’ll see 10 months from now? I know some of my clients think it’s SO far away yet, but I’m warning you now - don’t blink!
Thanks for gracing me with 10 minutes of your time, Bren!

Here’s a peek at part one of a two-part session with Tristan, who definitely could go by “Mr. T!” I’ve never seen such a magazine-ready little man…classic baby-good looks in a sturdy package!
Thanks T and Mom - and Taylor, of course - see you next week!

Today I went again to visit and shoot my twin - minus a few years - Miss A. She decided that “shy” was the mood of the day for our session, but I wasn’t buying it! I think these tell anyone what the real story was once we got rolling…thanks little lady, Mimi and family - here’s your sneak peak!

I’m going to use two of my favorite images from summer 2007 to announce something GOOD.
Winter got you feeling like this?

Would you rather be feeling like this?
Me, too! I’m SO over winter, and ready for warm days, big smiles and even fairy meltdowns. To get everyone into a great mood as we wait out the rest of winter, I’m offering a limited number of complimentary one-hour sessions and 25% off print prices. That means no session fee and a discount on everything from 5×7s to 40×30 wall prints and even gallery wrap canvases. When you smile for me, it makes me smile, and I *know* that will make spring come sooner!
I leaked this special out to friends last week (sorry!) and I’ve been booking up, so space is limited. Contact me for details - sessions must be scheduled by 2/21/08 and be completed by 4/15/08.

Today I visited with the lovely, talented and fiery Miss A. to get acquainted before our upcoming session. She was ready for anything - after she re-educated me on how to correctly brush my teeth, played the piano and sang me a song, showed me all her toys and chose ME over her adored “Mimi” (grandma) to help her put on her tiny hot-pink socks, I could barely tear myself away. How that much personality gets into such a small lady, I have no idea. Can’t wait for our session! (And yes, it was slightly like looking in the mirror - a looooong time ago!)

Maybe it’s the grey of winter creeping into my head, but all I want to make and show lately are black and white images. And why not? Whether grainy and vintage or clean and contrasty - Black + White = Soulful.
I know some of you share my b&w mania, so these images, made during a very grey winter day, in the middle of a flood, are for you.
